FOTD #3 - Naked 3 Palette

So about a month ago I finally got the Naked 3 palette by Urban Decay, and need I say more because we all know how amazing the Naked line is! I really love all the colours in this palette and I think that the pink and purple shades really compliment my eyes! So I have been wearing non stop, and thought I'd share with you one of the looks I've been wearing a lot recently on a day-to-day basis!

So the products that I used on my face today are as followed and are in the order I used them with links too! Cause I'm just so good to you guys ;)
Face

Eyes

Lips

Zuzka Natural Lipgloss in Mango

So the Naked 3 pallette was the main focus to this look and I went a bit more suttle today than what I normally do, cause I feel I dont need to go 'out, out' to got dramatic! But after applying primer potion, cause gurrll got them oil eyelids! I use the maybelline collour tattoo in pink gold over, then applied the colour Dust (1) over that as the colours match perfectly and the colour tattoo helps the it stay. Then I took Buzz (2) and applied to the outer half of my eye to help darken the corner up a little. I used Nooner (3) next and applied to my crease and outer corner and worked up to ma desired smokeiness. After I took a tapered blending brush and used Darkside (4) and applied right in the crease to add more smoke and definition. Then lastly Strange (5) to highlight my brow bone.

If you would like to see some different looks that I have done with the Naked 3 palette or another palette let me know and I'll be on it! If you would like to see any other FOTD's I've done then just click the links below! Until next have a lovely day...

FOTD #2 - Angels Last Sin

Ages ago I did a Fotd and a lot of you really liked it and it is one of my most viewed posts as well! So I was thinking why I have never done another one? they are super easy to do and you guys like them so here we are! If you want to see my last one that I did forever ago you can read it - here!So my face of the day today is a look I wear quite often as its a soft smokey eye that's not too dramatic and easy to do! So I'm really bad a taking good pictures of my face so you can sorta see my makeup here ahah! Im a really awkward poser okay guys, my pictures either look really cheesey or bad!
So for the eye shadow I used the Urban Decay Vice 3 palette which I am in love with and if you want to see my review on the palette you can read it - here! So for my eyes I first primed with the primer potion, its the only primer I find that works well with my oily eyelids and is honestly worth the price! I used four different colours from this palette... oh and excuse the lose shadow all of my palette!
The first being Last Sin, which is a pearly pink shimmer shade with silver glitter and I placed this over my lid,

Then Angel which is the colour blow Last Sin, this is a light taupe colour with silver glitter and I used this in the crease and worked up,

After Angle I used the colour below Defy, which is a smokey taupe colour and I put this in the crease too, to add more definition and make my shadow look more smokey however I only blended it out a little. As well as placing a little under my lower lash line,

Lastly I used Truth, that is a pale pink/nude matte colour which I used to highlight my inner corner of my eye and brow bone.
For the rest of the eyes after the eyeshadow, I used Seventeens Precision Eyeliner to line my eyes of course then Avons gel pencil eyeliner, on my tight line and water line, and its the best eyeliner ever! I use it everyday and a gel eyeliner as a pencil is so easy and an amazing idea! For mascara I used Rimmel Scandaleyes Rockin' Curves and I did a few layers with it. For lips I used a No7 High shin lip gloss in Whisper.
So on my face I used the MUA pro base primer which evens out my skin tone before foundation, which I used the Rimmel Wake Me Up which is one of my favourite drug store foundations I have ever tried, as it is really light, has great coverage and is easy to apply with its liquidy consistency. And I've just used the last bit of it which I'm not happy about! For concealer I used Seventeens Phwoarr Paint which is a heavy duty concealer for under your eyes but I also use on my pigmentation and spots and Its amazing jeeze! You all have to try it so bad! To set all this I used Collections Ultimate Wear Powder.

For dem brows I used MUAs eyebrow kit which is the only thing I've ever used to fill in my brows and I want to try something new! So let me know what you guys use and what you would recommend for me. Again another MUA product (I'm not obsessed or anything!) which is the mosaic bronzer and I use a mini kabuki brush to apply. Lastly a little bit of Benefits Lolli Tint on ma cheeks!

So yeah to the name of this post 'Angels Last Sin' I got it from the eyeshadows I used as I am terrible with coming up with names for FOTD's and OOTD's! If you guys want me to do more FOTD's then I will be happy to do so as I do change my makeup looks quite reguarly! Hope your having a wonderful day/night wherever you are!

Are You Washing Your Hair Right?

So are you?? One way to tell is if you get those days when you think your hair is clean because you have just washed it. But then later in the day your hair feels kinda gross and greasy? This mainly because you either washed your hair too fast and didn't wash all the product out, or just in your normal washes as well! Not washing your hair properly can create impurities in your hair and causes blemishes along your hairline.

Every time I go to the hair dressers and they wash my hair, I'm always left thinking why can't I wash my hair like that! My hair is left feeling soft and silky for days. So I got searching and found some pretty interesting results which I wanted to share with you guys! I'll be telling you today some ways in how, what and when you should wash your hair.

First and most important is that you shouldn’t wash your hair everyday. My hair gets greasy after a day because it gets really oily, really fast. And yes I do wash my hair everyday, because I ain't going out with no greasy hair! But you can train your hair not to get oily as quick. Your hair produces natural oils and every time you wash your hair your washing them out so your head produces more. So what you can do is just grin and bare washing it every other day or three days so your hair can control its natural oil flow. If you are worried about your roots looking greasy, as I know that's something I'll be worried about, just spray your roots with dry shampoo or water and then restyle with your blow-dryer!
Some stylists have said that "How often you wash your hair depends on your texture," and that "Finer hair needs to be washed daily or every other day; thicker or coarser hair can get washed every second day or even twice or once a week." So I learnt that if you are much like me and have fine hair, use a  volumizing conditioner in place of your shampoo every other wash as this will stop stripping your hair of its natural oils.

When actually putting on the shampoo we should only use a penny sized amount.... I shouldn't but I go way past that a put way too much on! Your whole head doesn't actually need to be lathered in shampoo for it to get clean! Fun fact - if you use sulfate-free shampoo it wont lather up much at all! All you need to do is massage the shampoo into your roots and use water to help spread it down to the rest of your hair. The only reason why you should be applying shampoo to the lower part of your hair is if you have product in it from that day. I only apply Conditioner to my ends so they can get moisture and help with split ends.

Most of us don't know that we are washing our hair with water that's way too hot, this is not good! What happens is the hot water opens up the hair follicles and makes your hair strands prone to become dry and they well be weak and break easily. What you should do is shampoo and condition your hair under lukewarm water, but not boiling hot! Then when you are finished washing change to cold water, however daunting that may seem as it dose give you a shocker when to put cold water on your head! You should do this as it closes the hair follicle and gives it shine!

This ones for you gals and guys who have dyed hair! Coloured hair can absorb and release water much more easily than hair that's not. So what happens is that when the water leaves, so does some of the colour! Which is not what you what, right? So hold off on rinsing for those few extra minutes, as you don't want to over rinse your hair so the colour comes out. Also, like the last point, stick to lukewarm or cooler water because the hotter water makes your hair lose colour faster!

If you do research into this you will find loads and loads of different results on how you should was your hair, but these were the 4 that I thought were the most important and I hope you gals and guys learnt from this post and you will be hair washing experts! So until next time have a awesome amazing day...

Quick And Easy Boho Hair Style - With Clip Hair Extensions!

So today I am going to be showing you a super easy and quick boho inspired hair style, which is great for summer especially with this head band I've found in New Look! Its so easy that it only takes 5 minutes and looks like you've taken a lot of time, when you haven't!
So first I start with putting in my extensions I got sent from clip hair, you can check out their website here - http://www.cliphair.co.uk/  They have so many amazing products and a variety of lengths, colours and types of extensions too! As you can see mine are a lot lighter than my actual hair, but my hair colour is just too awkward to find the perfect match. I got the 20" Inch Full Head Remy Clip in Human Hair Extensions, and the great thing about these is that you can straighten, curl them but not too much of course! Also you can dye them if you change your hair colour too which I might do with mine to make them darker.

I am wearing two one weft and two of the smaller 3 weft hair extensions, this is because I only have a small head and they seamed to fill up my head nicely and it looks even throughout. I curled my hair and the extensions first, and curling the extensions were super easy and too really well to the styling.
1. First I put on my head band which I got from New Look for only £3.99 they have so many cute ones for so cheap too! You can totally do this look with out  a head band too.
2. You want to section off 2 pieces either side your part for a fringe, I like to have these pieces of hair to frame my face nicely.
3. Next take a section of hair about an inch wide, this should be the hair in front of your ear.
4. Then with that hair plait it, but do it going away from your face this so that when you pull it back it lies flat and smooth.
5. Before I pin the plait I too pull at it gently to make it bigger and more prominent.
6. I then bobbie pin it over the band so that you can not see it. You will also have to pull and pin it tight so that it dose not slip and fall down.
7. I do this to both sides of my head and then you will be left with a little strand of hair.
8. With this strand I tucked it behind the other plaits so that you can't see them.
I then just sweep it to the side a there you go! You can also do other styles with the hair that's down, for example...
Plait it to the side or...
In two pony-tails!

So if your looking to get hair extensions for the length or to add thickness defiantly check out Clip Hair, like I said they have amazing products and the customer service is brilliant everyone is super nice and very happy to help. So if you have any questions just email them because they will email you back straight away!

Their website - http://www.cliphair.co.uk/

So I hope you enjoyed this post, it's a little different to what I normally do so I hope you like! If you would like to see how I curl my extensions let me know because I will happily do a video and blog post for you guys! So until next time have an awesome amazing day...

Spring/Summer 2014 Beauty Trends - Rebellious Liner

Spring/summer 2014 is going to bring in lots of different hair, makeup and beauty trends. This first on is one of my favourites because you can go wrong with a bit of eye liner! All you need is a dark eye liner and some attitude to wear this rebelish look. Its not the normal flicks, cat eye or winged eye liner, streak along the lower lash line  and top to create an almond shape. Then just smudge to prefect it! To create the look I would recommend to us a kohl eye liner as they are easiest to smudge and mould to what shape you want. You should get one that's smooth and soft otherwise the smudge wont  look effortless.
So here's a few eye liner I would recommend...

I think that these eyes look best paired with natural-looking skin, so no blush or bronzer and mascara-free lashes, this will help create a bad girl take on your natural beauty. This trend was seen a lot on runways for spring/summer 2014, inculding Carven, Missoni, Stella McCartney and lots more!

I hope you liked this quick little post and tell me below what you think of this beauty trend, and would you wear it?? Until next time have an awesome amazing day...
