Avon Glimmerstick Diamonds Eyeliner Review

If you don't know already I am a huge fan of Avon products and on my blog already reviewed a few of their products which you can read here if ya want -Avon Ultra Colour Absolute Lipstick In Smooth Plum and Avon Nailwear Pro+ and Nail Gems. So recently I got two of their new eyeliners in their Glimmerstick Diamonds rage. The two colours I got were Smokey Diamond and Twilight Sparkle.
So what I love straight away about these eyeliners and Avon eyeliners in general is that they are twist up ones which makes everything so much easier. The packaging really nice its slim and has a band round the bottom so you know what the colour is straight away. I also really like the diamonds on it too! The only problem with twist up eyeliners is that you don't know how much product is in there but for me one of these had lasted me a really long time using it day in and out.
The quality is amazing, with the soft and creaminess it still says on and never smudges! I love applying eyeliner on my waterline however most of the time it either fades away or smudges onto my lash line. But these last all day and stay wherever you apply! Both of them are absolutely fantastic they glide on super easy and you can get precious line or smudged effect.
As they are super soft and creamy, the eyeliner is smooth so you don't get any pulling or tugging on the skin when applying and can be applied in one stroke with out having to go over and over again! The colours are very gentle and go with any look  they have good definition but its not as harsh as just a black eyeliner which is nice to switch up from time to time. As well as adding that extra sparkle to your eyes, which catches the light more than you would think! The other colours you can get are,
The price of these eyeliners are rather reasonable at £6 as they are easy to apply, great consistency, very pigmented and stays on all day! However at the moment they are on the Avon website for only £3.10 so if you want to get your self some now is the time!

So I hope you liked this review if you have tried this eyeliners let me know what your thoughts are on them below, until next time have a lovely day,

Avon Ultra Colour Absolute Lipstick In Smooth Plum - Review!

Today's blog post is going to be on a review of the Avon Ultra Colour Absolute Lipstick which is in Smooth Plum! My Nan actually got this for me as she lives near an Avon seller and she knew I really wanted a dark purply pink lipstick! So there are 10 different shades in this collection of lipstick. They are described as on the website as - A rich colour and deeply moisturising lipstick, that keeps caring, even after you've taken it off. Rich, intense colour that cares, with Collagen, Vitamin E, Vitamin C, phytol and SPF 15.
So the first thing you see even before the lipstick itself is the packaging! For me the packaging isn't too much of a big deal and don't mind what it looks like as long as the product is good on the inside! However I do like the packaging on this! It is all plastic which is okay but it doesn't look bad, I like the pink base and the clear tinted lid so you can see the colour inside. Plastic packaging sometimes can be a bad idea ask it can break easy if dropped, but this is surprisingly tough! I am a very clumsy person and have already dropped it on my wooden floor and did not break even scratch!
When applying the lipstick it is very smooth and creamy, but not overly creamy! It is easy to apply and you don't need to keep applying to get an deep colour that's not sheer. Its very opaque the first time you put on which is a plus! As its a dark colour you obviously have to be careful when applying to make sure you don't go over your lip line and make it look messy! So I would suggest using a lip liner or a lip brush so you can get it on point ;)
The colour especially for this shade is just heaven! If you are looking for the perfect grudge colour that still is girly with the hint of pink in there which tones it down then this is for you! You can also see in my swatch above that there is a little bit of shimmer which doesn't over power! I have worn this so many times too edge up a look, but the colour can also be worn sophisticatedly too! Its a versatile colour which which can be dressed up or down! The colours do look a lot different from what they do in the Avon book and website so be warned about that! These are all the different colours and you can see the smooth plum looks a lot more pinky purple on my swatch to the picture!
The lasting power of the lipstick isn't the greatest unfortunately, if you eat and drink with it on it will come off straight away. Although if you wear it out and don't drink or eat it will last a good few hours before the middle starts to fade away. However, when it does it leaves a nasty line round your lips which does look a little weird and my friends laughed at me ;) Its not a good look so if you can when wearing it touch it up as much as your can to avoid the lines!

Overall I really love this lipstick even though it doesn't last as long as I would like but that shouldn't stop you from buying it as the colours and the feel of the lipstick is what makes them amazing! What else is great is that the lipstick has SPF in which is very important to have! A lot of people don't this but your lips are also very sensitive to the sun and can get damaged like your skin. The sun ages skin and your lips, the SPF keeps your lips feeling and looking healthy and vibrant! Also not putting protection on your lips can increased risk of getting skin cancer or another skin conditions!

The price of these are £8, which is okay I guess considering that many other drugstore lipsticks range from £4 to £12. Avon is a great place to get makeup or any beauty products from as they always have special deals, with money off or buy one get one half price and so on! I'll have the link to the lipstick below if you are interested of buying and I hop you enjoyed reading my review and if you have any extra comments on this product let me know in the comments below! Oooh that rhymed ;)

So until next time have an awesome amazing day...

My Nail Polish Collection!

So today I am showing you guys my nail polish collection! I have done loads of posts on nail polish and as my collection is getting rather big I thought I'd share it with you! I love these posts as I love to find out about new brands and amazing shades! So I hope you enjoy this post ^_^

Firstly, how I store my Nail Polish. I store in this insanely cute box which I got for christmas with the Mark Jacobs Dot perfume, body wash and moisturiser
As you can see in side its not really organised at all! I don't really go by brand when choosing, I just go by what colour strikes me the most that day. However, this way of storing it is not the best as I have to pick up the bottle to see the colour, though I could store them upside down but I'm too scared they will leak! So if you guys have any good ways of storing nail polish let me know! In the box I also keep a Lush bath bomb, I don't know why ahah! Nail stickers, beads, gems and fur... yes nail fur! ;)
So first we have two from Bourjois Paris in the shades - Its raining stars and Dangerous wish! They are gel nail polishes with a silicone texture so they last longer, which they do!
Next is OPI which is one of my favourite nail polish brand, the colours are amazing they last a long time and dry pretty quick too! So the colours I have are - Just a little rosti at this, Rally pretty pink and melon of troy.
As you can see I have more Avon nail polishes than any other, this is because they are my other favourite to OPI! I have 8 in total, so going from left to right... I have a mosaic effect in white, speed dry+ in twilight blue and red wine, nailwear pro+ in the shades starry sky, viva pink and sea breeze and lastly the gel finishes is orange crush and sheer love.
So next is Barry M and everyone raves about these polishes and I've only jumped on to this! So far I'm really impressed with the ones I have which are shade I don't know doesn't have a colour, but I think the code is, 324 ;) next is a crackle nail polish in 315 and last is a foil effect in 319!
Next is 17, which is a brand made by Boots so you can only get them there. I love these polishes they have so many amazing colours and the prices are really reasonable too! I have them in Glitter Top Coat, Orange Soda, Sphinx, Risky Red and Black.
These two are from Max Factor and they are the mini nail polishes! I think that they are my favorite nail polishes to use in the summer and as you can see I'm nearly running out of them :/ the colours are Cool Jade and Dazzling Blue
Next are ones that came in a set from Boots around Christmas time, and my Nan and Grandad got me these not last Christmas but the one before! These are the brand Champneys but I don't know if they are sold else where. I love these and the top coat is the best I have ever used! and they are Plum, Flamingo, Top Coat, Midnight and Raspberry.
These ones my Nan and Grandad got me too but last Christmas. I think they are from boots too and the brand is Colour Unlimited, and they don't have any shades but you can see what colour they are ;)
These are nail fur and nail beads which came with the nail polishes in a kit together. I have not used these yet but when I do I'll let yo know how it goes!
And lastly are some nail polishes are from Colour Works which I got when I was like 13 ahah They are actually really good nail polishes even though they are cheap! and I dunno if your meant to keep nail polishes for 4 years but they still work fine so hey ho ;)

So in total I have 36 nail polishes which I think is a nice amount for me! If you have any recommendations of brands that I should try let me know because I would love to expand my horizon ^_^ Until next time have an awesome amazing day...

Avon Nailwear Pro+ and Nail Gems Review!

So cause my Nan is so nice she decided to get me a little gift. She knows that I like to try new products, especially nail polish, so she got me some products from Avon. I already have some of their nail polishes and love them so I know that these should be just as good!
So the nail polishes are the Nailwear Pro+, these are there selection of polishes that have acrylic gel in them for strength and Dura-Plus Complex. They are meant to have 12 days of lasting colour, and also they have a shine and nick-resistant finish. So far I can say that the strength part has worked really well as my nails are so strong, so if you have weak nails this would be a great nail polish for you. The lasting power of the polish is fab it lasts at least 4 to 5 days without chipping so it could easily do a week. However I'm not sure if it dose last 12 days as I haven't had it on that long, but the reviews on their site shows that it can stretch that far! Then lastly for the shine, its not super shiny but just enough to make your nails look polished, and the nick-resistant so far has been amazing! This is a huge plus for me as some how I always chip my nail polish so fast, so to not have to re-paint my nails is such a time saver!
The colours I got are Sea Breeze and Viva Pink, and I absolutely love these colours and they are perfect for spring and summer! Avon have a wide selection of colours for this type of polish, they have 20 more excluding the ones I have!
So this next product is their Nail Gems, they are very brightly coloured gems which helps to create a professional looking nail art. I've never tried nail gems before because I really don't have the patience to sit and try and pick up small gems and faff around trying to get them on. So really I was thinking putting them on would be a mare, but hold up... It was so easy! Avon has easily separated out the gems in this cool little container which you can turn the top to get the gems out that you want so they do not go everywhere. Also if you by the nail gems you get a applicator half price. Which I would defiantly recommend getting as it helps a lot!
It was so much easier to pick them up and place on my nails! Its brilliant for any nail art and great for precision, its made from stainless steel and is about 9cm in length.

So this is how my nails came out, now I'm not a professional or good at nail art so don't judge ;) But for my first attempt I think I did pretty well! You can see that the gems are very small which in some cases can be good if you want to add load but at times can me a but fiddly. When my Nan gave me these it didn't come with instructions which kinda sucks, but I look on their website and they said that when your nail polish is drying add the gems then once dry add a top coat. This did work however I felt they didn't stay on for too long and if one falls off then your left with a hole in your nail polish. So what I did was used eyelash glue to stick them down which worked so well and they have lasted longer than I expected!

The price of everything is very reasonable, the nail polish being £6 each and at they are half price on their website! The gems being £3 and now are £2.50 and the applicator being £3 on its own but brought with the gems £1.50. I think that Avon nail polishes are defiantly one of my top favourite brands, and I can't wait to try more products by them! Overall I would recommend this product to anyone, epically for the gems it can be great way to create amazing nail are for pros, or beginners to nail art like me.

I hoped you liked this review, leave comments below on what your thoughts are on these products and what you think about avon ^_^ until next time have an awesome, amazing day...
