Avon Nailwear Pro+ and Nail Gems Review!

So cause my Nan is so nice she decided to get me a little gift. She knows that I like to try new products, especially nail polish, so she got me some products from Avon. I already have some of their nail polishes and love them so I know that these should be just as good!
So the nail polishes are the Nailwear Pro+, these are there selection of polishes that have acrylic gel in them for strength and Dura-Plus Complex. They are meant to have 12 days of lasting colour, and also they have a shine and nick-resistant finish. So far I can say that the strength part has worked really well as my nails are so strong, so if you have weak nails this would be a great nail polish for you. The lasting power of the polish is fab it lasts at least 4 to 5 days without chipping so it could easily do a week. However I'm not sure if it dose last 12 days as I haven't had it on that long, but the reviews on their site shows that it can stretch that far! Then lastly for the shine, its not super shiny but just enough to make your nails look polished, and the nick-resistant so far has been amazing! This is a huge plus for me as some how I always chip my nail polish so fast, so to not have to re-paint my nails is such a time saver!
The colours I got are Sea Breeze and Viva Pink, and I absolutely love these colours and they are perfect for spring and summer! Avon have a wide selection of colours for this type of polish, they have 20 more excluding the ones I have!
So this next product is their Nail Gems, they are very brightly coloured gems which helps to create a professional looking nail art. I've never tried nail gems before because I really don't have the patience to sit and try and pick up small gems and faff around trying to get them on. So really I was thinking putting them on would be a mare, but hold up... It was so easy! Avon has easily separated out the gems in this cool little container which you can turn the top to get the gems out that you want so they do not go everywhere. Also if you by the nail gems you get a applicator half price. Which I would defiantly recommend getting as it helps a lot!
It was so much easier to pick them up and place on my nails! Its brilliant for any nail art and great for precision, its made from stainless steel and is about 9cm in length.

So this is how my nails came out, now I'm not a professional or good at nail art so don't judge ;) But for my first attempt I think I did pretty well! You can see that the gems are very small which in some cases can be good if you want to add load but at times can me a but fiddly. When my Nan gave me these it didn't come with instructions which kinda sucks, but I look on their website and they said that when your nail polish is drying add the gems then once dry add a top coat. This did work however I felt they didn't stay on for too long and if one falls off then your left with a hole in your nail polish. So what I did was used eyelash glue to stick them down which worked so well and they have lasted longer than I expected!

The price of everything is very reasonable, the nail polish being £6 each and at they are half price on their website! The gems being £3 and now are £2.50 and the applicator being £3 on its own but brought with the gems £1.50. I think that Avon nail polishes are defiantly one of my top favourite brands, and I can't wait to try more products by them! Overall I would recommend this product to anyone, epically for the gems it can be great way to create amazing nail are for pros, or beginners to nail art like me.

I hoped you liked this review, leave comments below on what your thoughts are on these products and what you think about avon ^_^ until next time have an awesome, amazing day...

Urban Decay Ammo Palette - Review!!

So the ammo palette has been out for ages and over a year ago they made another new one, same as the first but basically revamped it! So I got this palette for my birthday last May and I have had a lot of time to use it and get a great impression on this product. Like the original, the palette had ten of Urban Decays best-selling shades. These varying from neutrals to vivid colours. These are in the shades...
  • Smog – Deep copper bronze shimmer.
  • Mildew – Mossy green shimmer with golden undertones.
  • Oil Slick – Deep matte black with silver micro glitter.
  • Last Call – Metallic plum.
  • Chopper – Copper shimmer with silver micro glitter.
  • Maui Wowie – Metallic golden beige with silver glitter.
  • Shattered – Turquoise shimmer with gold shift.
  • Polyester Bride – White snow shimmer with silver micro glitter.
  • Grifter – Sheer lavender shimmer with silver micro glitter.
  • Sin – The best-selling champagne shimmer.

The quality of these shadows are amazing... its made by Urban Decay what do you expect! So they revamped it, but the colours are the same? What they did is re-designed the formula of the shadow itself, the shadows are more velvety then before. The pigmentation is flawless and the colours blend effortlessly. I find that the shadows last around 8-9 hours on my lids with a primer, which for me, is seriously great because I have really oily lids.

As well as renewing the formula they changed the packaging, got rid of the old sponge-tip applicator (which I hate!) for a mini-eyeshadow brush and also added a sample-sized tube of their primer potion too.
Urban Decay Ammo 2 Palette
Like the original palette, the eyeshadows are displayed the same they are divided into two rows. What I like most about they way they are laid out is that they have put recommended colours together which can help a lot, or you can mix them together if you wish. Each of the columns makes a duo. My favorites are chopper and sin!
Compared the the original, the newer one seems to have less fall out because of the formula and they last longer. But aside from that and the new packaging was it really worth making a updated version of this palette. I know a lot of people whom have reviewed this feel the same! Instead of doing  this they should have just invested in making a new palette or something new!?

But if you don't have this palette at all I would defiantly recommend it to you as it is defiantly worth the money! Even though it is a lot smaller than you would think, but I've had it nearly a year and have used it a lot a lot! So it dose last a long time. It is price at £24 at Debenhams which is where I got mine from.
I hope you liked this review and found it helpful! If you would like more reviews let me know and leave a comment on your thoughts on this palette! Until next time have an awesome amazing day...

Bobbi Brown's Christmas Collection!

Can you believe its only 79 days until christmas! This year has just gone so so so fast, but its the time of year where all the chirstmas collections and gifts start to come out ^_^ YAY!! So I was browsing only today and came across Bobbi Browns chirstmas collection and can I say I think I might be in love with it... maybe even more than the RiRi <3 MAC collection!
Anyway for those of you who haven't seen the makeup collection yet I thought I'll show you my favorite pieces which one day I hope to get my hands on...
This first one is the Smokey Eye Warm Palette which is £37.50 and its a beautiful neutral palette which is perfect to have for everyday eyes and its small enough to carry in your bag and take traveling too.  It includes a classic base shadow in Ivory and some shades have a lot of metallic textures in and others has lovely neutral hues in. It includes a Mini Dual Ended Shadow/Liner Brush as well which is perfect on the go!
This next product is the Nude Glow Shimmer Brick highlighter for £35.00. IOUYDTYDJ OMG this is just to beautiful I cant even look at it without dying! It features the most perfect pearlescent colors to highlight your skin with skin. You can also use this shades as an eye shadow, and I can think of some very pretty makeup looks to make with this ^_^
Date Night Lip and Eye Palette for £24.00 which I think is a great price for  little compact for on the go which includes three eyeshadows in Ivory, Storm Cloud Sparkle and Caviar which can be used as an eyeliner too. The palette also comes with two lip colours in Sandwash Pink and Berry Punch which can be paired with the mini High Shimmer Lip Gloss that snaps into place in the middle.
So next is most probably my second favorite piece in this collection which is the Lip Gloss Trio for £29.00. Three is my lucky number so I knew I was gonna love these ;) These are a great wearable shades in Pink Sugar Shimmer Lip Gloss, Bronzed Heather High Shimmer Lip Gloss and Dusty Rose Lip Gloss. Great for everyday and night :D
So this last one is probably my favorite and that is the Evening Out Set which is quite pricey at £80.00. However off putting the price maybe to some of you just think about what you get in this set... It includes six shadow in a highlight shade, four lid shades and a dark liner shade! And added on you get a set of all the brushes you need to apply your makeup. But what I love about this set is that you get everything to create a perfect eyelook which even includeds the lash-lengthening mascara in the blackest black :D and overall you get a cute little black patent carrying case to put it all in. So maybe its worth that price?? ;)

So they are my favorite pieces in Bobbi Browns new Christmas Collection I hoped you enjoyed and if you wanna see the rest of the collection its all on Bobbi Brows website ^_^ and until next time, have an awesome amazing day...
